Description

The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made by Mrs Elsie Violet Wells. For thesis research for a Master's degree.

Eligibility

The award shall be tenable by those undertaking full time study at a university in New Zealand.

The scholarships are to be in the fields of: medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, psychology, psychiatry or theology. They are to be awarded to any persons without restrictions of gender, race, nationality, creed or age who, by their occupations, courses of study or experience are qualified to carry out research (at Masters level) in such fields.

The fields of research in which the scholarships will be tenable for the years 2007 - 2012 are as follows:

2007 & 2010
Psychology and Psychiatry
2008 & 2011 Medicine and Veterinary Science
2009 & 2012 Agriculture and Theology

Closing Dates 01 Oct 2013
Most application forms are not available until approximately 8 weeks ahead of the closing date.
