TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program
Description
To help partner countries cultivate skilled professionals who have an international outlook, the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) works with prestigious universities in Taiwan to select students to receive full scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes taught in English.
Financial asisstance
(1) A monthly stipend of NT$12,000 for undergraduate students, NT$15,000 for master's students and NT$17,000 for doctoral students. Expenses, such as tuition, textbooks, room and board, medical and accident insurance will be taken care of by the host school and the TaiwanICDF throughout the programme.
(2) One round-trip, economy-class ticket for the most direct route to Taiwan.
Application period
From the announcement date to April 30 (dates may vary among schools; please check the TaiwanICDF website for more information).
Eligibility
Applicants should be nationals of countries with which Taiwan has diplomatic relations, or nationals of developing countries friendly to Taiwan. For more detailed information, please visit the TaiwanICDF website.
