Description

The Hauraki Maori Trust Board (as Trustee of the Pare Hauraki Fishing Trust) Tertiary Education Grants are to assist with the cost of tuition fees of students at tertiary instituions.

Applicants must whakapapa to one or more of the Hauraki iwi and be on the Tribal Reigster of the Hauraki Maori Trust Board (as trustee of the Pare Hauraki Fishing Trust).

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for an education grant with the Hauraki Maori Trust Board you must whakapapa to one of the 12 iwi of Hauraki and be registered with the Board. You must be studying towards a diploma or a higher-level qualification and be enrolled at a university, whare wananga, polytechnic, institute of technology, teachers' training college or comparable overseas institution.
