These awards have been set up by the Canterbury Branch of the Federation of Graduate Women in memory of the late Sadie Balkind, a member who made a generous bequest to the Branch.
Open to New Zealand citizens, of good character and who have successfully completed at least one year of study at Canterbury or Lincoln Universities and are continuing their studies at a university.
