These scholarships are available for applicants studying in all subject areas.

These scholarships are available for applicants studying in all subject areas.

Chemical and Process Engineering PhD Scholarship - Closing date 30 September
Title: Desulfurization of fuel using advanced oxidation process

Ministry of Fisheries/ NIWA Postgraduate Scholarship in Quantitative Fisheries Science - Closing date 20 September
The research undertaken will contribute to quantitative fisheries research programmes with particular emphasis on the assessment of fish stock modelling.

Ngata Centenary Doctoral Scholarship - Closing date 15 October
This scholarship is available for Maori applicants

Sir Don Beaven Scholarship - Closing date 15 October
This scholarship are available for applicants studying Communication Disorders and Health Sciences

UC College of Engineering Doctoral Scholarship for Maori - Closing date 15 October
For students of Maori descent who are about to start or are in their first year of full-time study towards a doctoral degree in the College of Engineering.

UC College of Engineering Doctoral Scholarship for Women - Closing date 15 October
For women students who are about to start or are in their first year of full-time study towards a doctoral degree in the College of Engineering.

UC Earthquake-Recovery Doctoral Scholarships - Closing date 11 November
To support PhD research in pre-approved projects that are earthquake-related. A list of the research projects available may be obtained from the Scholarships Office, University of Canterbury.

UC Earthquake Safe Building Doctoral Scholarship - Closing date 15 November
The Earthquake Safe Buildings Doctoral Scholarship has been established in recognition of those people who lost their lives on 22 February 2011 as a result of collapsed buildings from the Christchurch earthquake.
