Whether you completed your studies at the former Canterbury College, the Teachers’ Training College or the Ilam Campus, whether you live in Christchurch or have been away since your student days, we invite you to share in the weekend’s festivities — to meet up with old classmates and teachers and to see how your alma mater has grown and developed in the intervening years. Help us celebrate the past, present and future.
Public Events
Our seminar series is open to the wider public. If you have friends or family members who would like to attend they can request a registration form from the UC Alumni Office or register online.
Main Events
The main highlights of Alumni Reunion Weekend are:
- 10th anniversary of the National Centre for Research on Europe, 2-5.30pm Friday 8 October
- Alumni Reunion Weekend Welcome Reception, 6:30-8:30pm, Friday 8 October
- Public lecture series, runs all day Saturday 9 October
- Ecumenical Chapel Service, 10-11am, Sunday 10 October
- BBQ on campus, 12-2pm, Sunday 10 October
In addition you may register for events hosted by your Faculty/College or residential hall, and for any of the Public Events listed on the programme.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to venue restrictions numbers for many of these events are limited. Register early to avoid disappointment.
