Before you start your thesis
If you are interested in beginning a master’s thesis, it is important you talk to the relevant College/Department about your proposed research.

Before you start, make sure you also understand what resources your department/school will provide.They will be able to tell you what their policy is for funding such things as:
- photocopying and printing
- library resources (eg, the costs of interloan material)
- technical costs
- travel funds
- conference attendance
- field work
- studio materials
- desk and computer facilities etc.
