Welcome to the Platform Arts Festival

Platform is the biennial arts festival of the University of Canterbury. Last year's festival ran from 21st May to 1 June, and this site showcases the events of the festival and the opportunities it provided to students. The festival is twelve days of fine art, theatre, literature, lectures, music, film and opera, held both in the city and on campus. Platform 08 featured collaboration between academics, performers, artists and students, offering Christchurch audiences a new and distinctive experience of the arts.
