UC features one of the most innovative support systems for Pacific Students. We have a team of people here to help you develop through your study, from undergrad to post-graduate, from arts to engineering, the Pacific Development Team has a range of services and programmes for you.
The Pacific Development Team runs many events throughout the University year. Pasifika Welcome is our first major event and is for all Pacific students and their families. Student BBQ’s, Jandals and the Achievers Evening are some of the things students can look forward to during the year.
Induction and the Pacific Mentoring Programme are run especially for our first-year (including transferring) Pacific students and the PASS programme is available to all Pacific students to support academic learning and achievement.
We also have a dedicated College of Education Development person and specific events for College of Education students that are held at the Dovedale campus.
