Pacific Students Space
For Pacific Students at UC, there are two spaces just for you, one located on the Ilam campus and the other especially for Education students on the Dovedale campus.
Pasifika Student House, 45 Creyke Road, Ilam Campus
The Pasifika Student House is your place.
Located to the side of Ilam campus, the Pasifika Student House is open to all University of Canterbury Students of Pacific heritage. This space is intended for social, cultural and academic gatherings and is open from 8am to 10pm weekdays. The Pasifika House is a great place to drop in between classes, to meet other Pacific students, check your e-mail, eat your lunch or simply catch up on some reading.
Other resources available in this space for student use include:

- Fridge
- Microwave
- Free coffee, milo and tea
- Shared text books for core 100 level papers
- Tutorial room with whiteboard
- A friendly support network for Pacific students.
Pacific Room
Room 312, Te Pourewa (The Tower) - currently closed due to 22 February earthquake.
The Pacific room is located in Te Pourewa building level 3, Room 312, College of Education. It is available for Pacific students studying teacher education. It is a place to study and relax with friends.

- Free coffee, hot chocolate and tea
- Study space
- 3 computers
