PASS programme - Pacific Academic Solutions and Success -

Pacific Students in Library

The PASS programme is designed to help you identify solutions that support your academic success at University.
PASS supplies free tutoring for Pacific students in over 100 courses each semester.

  • Register with PASS to Request a Tutor online or drop in to 37 Creyke Rd to register in person.
    Once you are registered with PASS, you are welcome to make contact with any of our tutors immediately via the Tutor list.

  • Check out our current PASS Tutor list here (by course code)

  • You can also, find our PASS tutors here (by alphabetical name)

  • The PASS Tutor list is available by week 3-4 of each semester and updated as new tutors are recruited throughout the year. You can also find it via Learn

  • Attend academic skills seminars like ReFresh and Exam Preparation workshops designed specificaly for Maori & Pacific students on campus.

  • If there is no tutor listed for your course & you need one, make sure you Request a Tutor
    and email a Pacific Advisor if you need urgent assistance.
    (Please note that although we do fill the majority of tutor requests each semester,
    there are always some courses we cannot find tutors for –
    registering for PASS & requesting a tutor does not guarantee we will find a tutor for all requested courses)
