Courses for credit
Work integrated learning and community engagement experiences are already built into many UC courses to give you additional experiences that will enhance your employment prospects once you graduate.
These enable you to apply academic theory to actual projects for local businesses and organisations so you can gain valuable skills and knowledge and develop attributes that employers value so highly such as team work, communication and problem-solving.
Several degree programmes at UC, such as Engineering and Education, require students to undertake practical experience before graduation.
Please note that many of the degree programmes and courses that include components of work-integrated learning experience have pre-requisites.
