Māori Orientation

UC Māori Orientation Day is a chance for new students and whānau to be welcomed to UC, meet with the Māori Development Team (MDT) and find out about the support services on offer.

The day is designed to give you a head-start on your first semester studies and is also a great time for you to find out how UC systems work, familiarise yourself with the campus and learn about various support services before your studies begin. MDT Student Advisors and Tuākana (Senior Māori Student Mentors) run a range of fun activities throughout the day that help new students and whānau get to know the campus, meet other students, ask questions, get sorted for day one and start to plan for life at UC. We look forward to meeting you and your whānau at UC Māori Orientation 2017.
