Time: 10.00am-12.30pm, followed by afternoon tea
Venue: Jack Mann Auditorium, Dovedale Campus, University of Canterbury
The Celebration for Māori Graduates and Graduands honours the achievements of our Māori students at the University of Canterbury. It is an opportunity for graduates of Māori descent to be presented to their whānau, the Māori community and the University. Each graduate is presented with a prized pounamu specifically designed for Māori graduates at UC.
The celebration for Māori Graduates and Graduands is not an official graduation ceremony so graduates are encouraged to attend the UC graduation ceremonies and the Māori celebration.
Information about UC Graduation Ceremonies is available at the Graduation webpage.
