Borrowing

Self loan station

Borrowers who are registered with the library may borrow material. You must present a current Canterbury Card. Most staff and students of the University of Canterbury are automatically eligible to become borrowers, including approved academic visitors.

Exceptions to borrowing include UC employees on casual contracts, some visitor classes, culturally enrolled students and some UC Opportunity students.

Non staff and students are welcome to visit Macmillan Brown Library and request to view items within the library. Borrowing of items for use outside of the library requires library membership.
