Valuable experience

This five-week programme organised in collaboration with Peking University provides an opportunity for 14 students to explore Beijing while working on a project for a New Zealand organisation including the Canterbury Mayoral Forum and Christchurch Educated.

Unique insight

You will also benefit by living near Peking University in the centre of Beijing. This combined with your project as well as language, history and culture classes will enable you to gain a unique insight into another culture, which is supplemented by a series of day trips in and around Beijing. This programme provides a series of experiences that would not otherwise be possible, framed by an academic programme designed to maximise leaning and growth.

Peking University is ranked 29th in the THE World University Rankings 2016/17 and 38th equal in the QS World University Rankings 2018. It is also ranked first place in China according to the THE World University Rankings 2016/17.
