International Relationships Office

The International Relationships Office is responsible for

  • Assisting in the Support and Development of the University's Internationalisation Strategy
    Our commitment to internationalisation results from our ambition to achieve and maintain world-class quality in all that we do. The elements of internationalisation that we adopt support the integration of international components in all that we do.

  • Post-Secondary partnerships
    Development and support of institution partnerships and relationships leading to internationalisation of the University, including dual degrees, twinning programmes and other collaborations.

  • International government and educational bodies
    Support of international sponsored student programmes.

  • Secondary school pathway programmes
    The University of Canterbury appreciates the importance of providing secondary school counsellors with options and opportunities for their international students. We are happy to discuss ways to work together with you and your students, whether in New Zealand or anywhere in the world.

  • Educational agencies
    High quality partners provide important information to students interested in coming to University of Canterbury and we appreciate their dedication to helping our students.

  • International Mobility
    The management of study abroad, reciprocal student exchange programmes and staff mobility between the University of Canterbury and its partner universities is undertaken.
