Top up online or in person

You can put money on your Canterbury Card with myUC or in person via the EFTPOS reload stations.

Credit may take up to 30 minutes to be recognised by all services.

Problems with adding credit

Refunds

Refunds on your debit account are available only on complete withdrawal from your courses. The minimum refund amount is $5. To arrange a refund, take your Canterbury Card to the Cashiers, Level 1, Matariki, cashiers@canterbury.ac.nz.

The credit from your previous year will be transferred if you re-enrol.

Credit left on student accounts will be cleared if you are not enrolled and no transactions have occurred for a 12 month period.

The credit will be transferred to the Canterbury Card equipment account.

UC credit provided to PG and Honours students will not be refunded.
