Transition programmes get you ready for university study and support you on the journey. They vary in length and are usually scheduled within normal university semester dates.

Get entry to university

The Certificate in University Preparation (CUP) is for you if you are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and don’t meet the requirements for university entry with your existing qualifications.

Invitation to law lecture students

Get ready for Law

Prepare for your first-year studies by taking BRDG031 Invitation to Law. The course provides an introduction to legal materials, and to the institutional and social context of the New Zealand legal system.

STAR Programme

The STAR at UC programme allows secondary school students from anywhere in New Zealand to enrol in first-year degree-level courses while they are in Year 12 or 13.
