What else is happening?
The Info Hub in the Undercroft, level 1 of Puaka-James Hight is the place to go to talk to College, Student Liaison and UC staff representatives as well as members of the University of Canterbury Students' Association. You can also pick up a load of information on courses, careers, degree planning, scholarships, funding, accommodation and learning resources with additional information for Māori and Pacific students.

The UCSA offers everything from general advice and support, welfare and advocacy, to just having fun at some of UC’s most well-known events. There’re over 140 clubs and societies here to help you make the most of who you are and to explore and experience something completely new.

Eat your way along the C-Block walkway
The International Food Market will keep you warm on this winter day. Try tasty morsels, and delicious delights from the food trucks along the walkway. Remember to bring some spare change, Eftpos will be available at some stalls but not all.
Open Day Parakuihi/Breakfast for prospective Māori students and whānau
Start the day right.
Prospective Māori students and whānau are invited to meet the Māori Development Team and Tuākana students for parakuihi on Open Day. Parakuihi is from 7.30am – 8.30am, register here.
Parents and Whānau Centre
Parents and whānau are welcome to take a break on Open Day in the Accommodation Hub in the lower concourse of Matariki building. Help yourself to a cup of tea or coffee and take the opportunity to speak with members from Student Success, ask questions about what support is available on campus and how UC support your student to succeed. You can also ask questions about accommodation options, fees and scholarship opportunities.
