Examination result dates
The 2012 release dates are:- Mid-year examination and test results: Evening of Friday, 6 July 2012.
- End-of-year examinations: Evening of Friday, 30 November 2012.
Results will be released to students online at UC Student Web (UC Student Website).
Some College of Education run to a different schedule and results will be released as soon as they are available. If a final grade does not appear on your transcript, please refer to the course information on Learn or contact the department for further information.

Reconsideration of Grade
If you are unhappy with the result of any of your examinations or your final course grade, you may appeal against that result.
For up to four weeks after the release of results a candidate may apply to the Examination Arrangements Senior Co-ordinator for a Reconsideration of Grade. The reconsideration will normally consist of a re-marking and re-counting of the final exam script, together with a recount of the marks awarded for any other items of work. If you have extenuating circumstances which affected your performance in your examination, you should view the aegrotat regulations.
The Reconsideration of Grade fee is $60 for each course applied for. This is refunded if your grade is changed.

Appeal against Reconsideration of Grade
If you have made a Reconsideration of Grade application and have been denied a change of grade you may appeal to the appropriate Dean.
Please apply in writing with supporting documentation to the Examination Arrangements Senior Co-ordinator who will forward your application to the Dean. Any appeal should be made within 10 working days from notification of the initial decision.
There is no additional fee to make an appeal against a reconsideration of grade.
Access to your examinations script
Examination scripts must be preserved for six months from the date of release of results.
Viewing your examination script
To view your exam script during this six month period:- No application form is needed and this is free of charge.
- Candidates may view their scripts at the Departmental/School office.
- Scripts must not be removed from the Department/School by the candidate.
Obtaining a copy of your examination script
To obtain a copy of your exam script during this six month period:
Up to three months from the release of results
For up to three months after the release of results any candidate may apply to the Examination Arrangements Senior Co-ordinator for a copy of any final examination script submitted by that candidate.
The fee is $55 for each examination script requested.

After three months from the release of results
After three months from the release of results and until the scripts are destroyed, original scripts will be returned to candidates free of charge.
During this time, candidates should apply to the relevant Department/School to have their original script returned.
Please note: These regulations do not apply to multi-choice papers where the Head of Department/School has been authorised by the Academic Boards not to release marked scripts.
