Use of Māori
The University recognises and supports students who wish to use Te Reo Māori in examinations.
Candidates may use Te Reo Māori if they have made prior arrangements with the Head of Department responsible for the examination.
Apply to the relevant department at least 14 days before the exam so suitable arrangements may be made.
If translation of the exam paper is required you should also notify the Manager, Records, Examinations, Graduation and Scholarships no later than 14 days before the exam.
Due to the time it takes for translation and verification, there is likely to be some delay in the work being returned to the examiner. It could take longer for results to be released to you.
