Aegrotats
If you are prevented from sitting an examination or consider that your performance in an examination has been impaired by illness, injury, bereavement or any other critical circumstance you may apply for aegrotat consideration.
How to apply
Following the exam you must:- Visit a doctor within 24 hours
- Submit the application form to the Student Services Centre within 7 days

What happens after you apply for an aegrotat
If your application was made on time and is successful the result will be included in your final grade. The grade will be displayed with the letters "Aeg".
If not, the application will result in no change to your grade.
Appealing an aegrotat decision
If your application is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal this decision.
Any appeal should be made in writing and must normally be submitted within 10 days of the notification of the decision.
