Focus on: Global Studies

How can you build your own awareness about the wider world? What is life like in different parts on earth and how do people and countries across the world interact? Discover how you could learn and develop ideas to understand, improve and change our world through the Arts at UC.

Subjects covered: Political Science and International Relations, European and European Union studies, Classics, History, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Mathematics, Statistics

Plus: Hear more about Professional and Community Engagement (PACE) and the Arts internship programme – the longest established internship programme amongst Arts faculties in the country.



Focus on: People and Society

How do people communicate? How do different societies and cultures interact? What does our future look like – will we only communicate through technology and will robots be a part of everyday life? Discover how you can have an impact on society through the Arts at UC.

Subjects covered: Anthropology, Sociology, Maori and Indigenous Studies, Philosophy, Human Services, Education

Plus: Get an introduction to our clubs and go on a tour around campus.



Focus on: Creative Arts and Communications

Follow your passion and gain skills that employers want - research, writing, critical thinking, analysis and communication with a Bachelor of Arts at UC.

Subjects covered: Linguistics and English Language, Media and Communication, Music, English and Cultural Studies, Art History and Theory, Cinema Studies

Plus: After exploring all the subjects of the Bachelor of Arts we want you to look beyond. What can you do with a major in History or Philosophy? We give you an outlook of how you can turn your passion into a career. There are a wide range of employers specifically looking for the skills you develop as an Arts students - some of them from areas you wouldn’t expect.

Nothing and you get free lunch everyday!
