I will discuss how, taking a resource based view of the firm and strategy as practice perspective, I have developed a research agenda based on better understanding firm performance. I will present the research questions I have been working on. These include: Can tacit knowledge be a source of advantage? What are the implications of causal ambiguity on value creation? How can firms renew their resource base?=0D=0A=0D=0AThe aim of this seminar is not only to share my contributions to the strategic management literature but also to discuss the challenges and tribulations of publishing.=0D=0A=0D=0AV=E9ronique Ambrosini is a Professor of Management (Strategic Management) at Monash University. She is the Monash international business and strategic management discipline group leader. She was previously a Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Birmingham and at Cardiff University.=0D=0A=0D=0AHer research is conducted essentially within the resource-based and dynamic capability view of the firm. She has articles published in internationally recognized journals such as the Journal of Management Studies, British Journal of Management or Human Relations. =0D=0A=0D=0AV=E9ronique is an associate editor of the British Journal of Management and of the Journal of Management & Organization and sits on several editorial boards.=0D=0A=0D=0APlease check back on the Events Calendar on the day of the event to ensure the event is still being held.
