About us
The Early Childhood Learning Centre Under 2s unit caters for children from 6 weeks to 2 years of age. Situated in the grounds of the Ilam campus of the University, the centre offers a creative outdoor space and calm 
surroundings for the children.
The purpose-built building and spacious grounds provide an environment for the teachers to cater to the specific needs of each individual child.
Unique aspects of the Centre are:
- the low ratio of children to teachers
- the high level of trained and registered teachers
- the multicultural community
- the primary care system of individualised care and education.
While providing for the early childhood needs of the University staff is a priority, when possible, places are available for families of students and the wider community.
