Graduate Diploma in Science GradDipSc

This diploma offers people who already hold a bachelor's degree (such as a BA, BCom, BFA or BSc) an opportunity to study science in depth.

It is designed to provide a qualification for graduates seeking to qualify for entry to postgraduate qualifications in Science, or to extend or upgrade their existing qualifications.

The Graduate Diploma in Science may be awarded with Distinction.

Entry requirements

Candidates must have qualified for a bachelor's degree and be approved by the Dean of Science. Acceptance will depend on the standard and relevance of previous studies.

Courses

Students take courses from the BSc schedule specified by the Head of Department/School and are required to pass courses totalling not fewer than 120 points including 90 points at 300-level.

Duration

One year full-time or two or more years part-time.
