Bachelor of Music with Honours MusB(Hons)
To qualify for the MusB(Hons), candidates must complete three (including MUSI 480) or four (including MUSI 466) courses (chosen from 11 possibilities) within one year of full-time study. Students must include
MUSI 466 Research Project or MUSI 480 Research Essay (Extended) as one of their courses.
The degree may be taken in Composition or Performance and may be awarded with Distinction or Merit.
Entry requirements
Candidates must have completed the equivalent of a Bachelor of Music degree with good grades.
Entry to the performance option is limited. Applications for auditions close with the School of Music on 15 September of the preceding year. Application forms are available on the School of Music website.
Duration
One year full-time.
