Graduate Diploma in Economics GradDipEcon
This diploma offers students an opportunity to complement their undergraduate studies with further studies in Economics.
Entry requirements
Candidates must have qualified for a degree. Acceptance for the programme will depend on the standard and relevance of previous studies.
Courses
To qualify for the diploma a candidate must pass at least 120 points (of which at least 75 must be at 300-level) as approved by the Head of Department, normally from ECON 202, ECON 203, and 300-level Economics (ECON) or Finance (FINC) courses.
A candidate may take fewer than 120 points in Economics or Finance provided that the Head of Department is satisfied that the overall course of study is related to the candidate’s interest in economics.
Duration
One year full-time or part-time in up to four years.
