Description

Renewable energy technologies including: energy in the New Zealand context, renewable energy resource management, principles of advanced energy technologies such as photovoltaics and fuel cells, and the importance of advanced materials in energy technologies.

This course explores the use and technologies related to the needs for energy and the supply of renewable energy. This includes topics such as combined heat and power systems, biomass and thermo-chemical processing, wind, geothermal and solar energy processes relevant to energy technology.
