Description

This course provides students with opportunities to progress towards the demonstration of appropriate competencies and professional qualities. The course is closely linked to Professional Inquiry 1. Associate Teachers assist the College to assess students' developing competence as a teacher.

Assessment and grading system

This course is competency based.
A student will receive both formative and summative assessment during their teaching practice. Formative assessment is done informally through verbal feedback and on the written end-of-week-report. The last week and final report summary in the Professional Practice Report Book will be summative.

Final results are reported on the College Grading Scale as a Pass or Fail.
