TEXTUALITY OF FILM AND FICTION: THE CASE OF OBLOMOV

Mikhalkov’s film "Oblomov" (1977) will be viewed as an ideological reevaluation of the nineteenth-century text in the political realia of the Soviet Union in the last two decades of its existence. The problems of popular culture recycling the themes and motifs of high culture will be examined from the historical and inter-disciplinary perspectives.
