Description

Ensemble Performance

Students will be expected to form an appropriate group (or groups) and choose a balanced programme of 45-50 minutes.  The relevant tutor will provide reasonable assistance and approve the programme.  This programme will be prepared and presented at a lunchtime recital at the School of Music normally to be held in the last half of the second semester.

Alternatiely, a CD of 45-50 minutes duration may be prepared and submitted for assessment by the same panel by the end of the fourth term.

Programme notes and brief biographical notes of the performers are to be provided and in the case of a CD, a booklet designed containing the same information.

Prerequisites

(1) MUSI341 (B- grade or higher); (2) Subject to approval of the Programme Coordinator
