Mathematical Models in Biology
How did the leopard get its spots? Why should children be vaccinated against measles? This course will try to answer these (and other) questions by using mathematical models to examine biological phenomena.Some knowledge of dynamical systems and a familiarity with Maple (or MATLAB) are useful pre-requisites to this course.
