Description

This course aims to introduce students to the theory and practice of working with different types of groups in a helping context. Students will be given the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the areas of group process and group leadership.

Prerequisites

Subject to the approval of the Head of the School of Health Sciences.

Assessment Due Date Percentage  Description
Group leadership exercise 45% Co-leadership group exercise facilitated with members of the class. This will be due either 11th or 12th September.
Written plan and reflection 55% Written plan including review of literature used to inform topic and planning. Reflexive critique of experience and learning. This will be due either the 25th or 26th of September.
