Assessment Due Date Percentage  Description
Online Skills Test 15% The aim of this assignment is to give you the opportunity to identify skills, and their intention, and evaluate their effect when viewing a counselling excerpt. The test will be available from 14 May 2018 and be due by 18 May 2018.
Integrated Theory Assignment 45% Part A: Class Participation/Group presentations (Tues Jul 24th) 5%. Part B: Written Integrated Theory Assignment (Fri Aug 10th) 40%. The aim of this assignment is to enable you to demonstrate your ability to integrate elements of the theories covered in the course into a coherent and personalised integrated theory of counselling. Keeping a learning journal and recording your responses to the "Inner reflections" questions in each chapter of the course text as you progress through the course will greatly assist you to prepare for this assignment.
Video and Analysis 14 Sep 2018 40% The video assignment is one in which you demonstrate your ability to use a range of purposeful counselling skills and interpret their impact in a counselling interview. Specific instructions for this assignment will be distributed in Semester 2.
