This course examines contemporary research on learning design and assessment in tertiary teaching, and explores learning and assessment design practices in order to enhance student learning outcomes.
1. Demonstrate an understanding of key teaching and learning literature in tertiary education generally and within the specific topics of learning design and assessment;2. Reflect upon and critique evidence gathered about learning design and assessment practices;3. Revise their own learning design and assessment practices in a way that reflects an understanding and application of the teaching and learning literature and theory.
