Description
This is the sixth course in a sequence of seven French language acquisition courses offered by the school. Students who have passed FREN201 or the equivalent can take this course.
This is the second course in a three-course sequence designed for students at the advanced-intermediate level. Through an introduction to French culture and civilisation, FREN202 promotes conversational skills and helps students develop the ability to write and comprehend somewhat complex texts (written or audio) on a broad range of topics. An extensive grammar review is included.
The course is taught in French. Topics included in 2012 are: the regional identity of Brittany, the environment, youth culture and social networks, and two films: Etre et avoir and Le Hérisson.
This course can be credited towards a Diploma in French Language.
