Description

Application of basic concepts in environmental science to understanding land, air and water processes, their interactions, and their management.

ENVR411 is one of two Environmental Science core papers.  ENVR410 explores the concepts and principles that underlie environmental science.  In ENVR411 we consider some of the key issues that environmental science graduates are likely to deal with in natural resource management in New Zealand. The course is built around a series of themes and case studies that explore the underlying issues associated with managing particular resources in our environment (water, air and land) and then considers the impacts that management can have on this resource and the options for mitigating these impacts.
