Fundamentals of Electronics
Description
This course provides the student with an introduction to the basic principles of circuit theory. In particular, RLC circuits, sensors, filters, operational amplifiers and simulation techniques are examined.
(1) PHYS102 or PHYS114 (2) MATH102 or EMTH118 or MATH108. These prerequisites may be replaced by a high level of achievement in NCEA Level 3 Physics and Mathematics with Calculus or other background as approved by the Head of Department.
