Theory and Foundations of Deaf and Hearing Impairment
Description
An advanced study of theoretical and research-based foundations of specialist teaching relating to understanding, recognising, assessing and providing for learners who have needs in the area of Deaf and Hearing Impairment
A teaching qualification or entry at the discretion of the Dean of Education. RP: Experience working with children who are Deaf or Hearing Impaired.

Timetable
This course includes 2 face-to-face block courses. The first block course will be held at Massey University's Albany campus from 9am 22nd February 2012 to 3pm 25th February 2012.
The second block course will be held at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch from 27th to 30th August.
