Resource packages will be developed using a co-operative and context-based approach.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Demonstrate a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of physics concepts up to Year 13 level.

Plan and teach a sequence of lessons to suit level 7 and 8 objectives in the national curriculum statement.
Develop and use a variety of teaching strategies (eg demonstrations, practical activities, problem solving, modelling).
Demonstrate the skills required to organise and run safe and effective practical work in a typical school physics laboratory.
Demonstrate familiarity with the correct operating procedures and uses of standard physics laboratory apparatus.
Describe and use a range of assessment procedures and develop an awareness of what is required to prepare students for external examinations and Unit Standard assessments
