A study of key issues and analytical techniques in international finance. Topics covered include: current account imbalances; financial globalization and international capital flows; models of exchange rate determination; foreign exchange intervention and speculative attacks; currency and sovereign debt crises; and the role of international policy institutions like the IMF.
