- Conservation Volunteers is a not-for-profit, incorporated, independent trust, and is registered as a charitable entity. Conservation Volunteers works with local communities, the business sector and government agencies to bring together additional volunteers to undertake significant conservation projects.
- Volunteering Canterbury contains volunteer opportunities not-for-profit non-government organisations in the Canterbury region.
- Volunteering New Zealand (VNZ) is an association of regional volunteer centres and national organisations with a strong commitment to volunteering.

- IEP offer working holiday options in Canada, USA, UK and more. They offer a range of services including visa assistance, in country support, job placement before you go and more.
- NZAID Learn about the New Zealand Government's international aid and development programme managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
- Raleigh International offers opportunities to help on local community projects and with the environment in developing countries.
- The Global Volunteer Network places volunteers in community projects throughout the world.
