- Check with the New Zealand based Foreign Embassy of the country you are applying to work in if you have any further questions/concerns
- Keep up-to-date with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade advice for New Zealanders travelling and living overseas
- Borrow the book Teaching English Overseas for Aussies and Kiwis (3rd edition) by Bryan Havenhand and contributors (Global Exchange Pity Ltd, Australia,2007) from UC Careers & Employment if you want to research other TESOL organisations

- Communicative Language Training International (a Christchurch based company specialising in TESOL training and recruitment) offer NZQA approved certificate courses in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and cultural awareness for teaching in Asia. Tesolteacherfind is their recruitment service for New Zealanders and Australians looking for jobs teaching English overseas.
- The JET Programme - most participants are selected as Assistant Language Teachers. Others join the JET Programme as Co-ordinators for International Relations or Sports Exchange Advisors. Details of how to apply for these positions are listed on the website.

Teach English Korea specialises in the recruitment and employment of native born English speakers from North America, Australia and New Zealand to work in Korea teaching English to Korean students, mainly younger children.
