Entry requirements
Undergraduate stream:- IELTS 5.5 (academic module) with no score below 5.0; or
- TOEFL paper based 520 and TWE 4.0; or
- TOEFL internet based 68, with both listening and reading no less than 17 and writing no less than 12; or
- Successful completion of our EAP2 course with an overall B grade; or
- A pass in the Bridging Programmes English language entry test.
- IELTS 6.0 (academic module) with no score below 6.0; or
- TOEFL paper based 550 and TWE 4.5; or
- TOEFL internet based 80, no less than 19 for listening, reading and writing; or
- Successful completion of our EAP2 course with an overall B grade; or
- A pass in the Bridging Programmes English language entry test.
Please note:
- If you have already achieved an IELTS of 6.5 (with no band score below 6.5) and plan to undertake postgraduate study you may fast track to the start of the second semester of the postgraduate stream of CertETS. You will be awarded an exemption for the first semester.
- If you plan to undertake degree study at the University once you have completed CertETS you must meet the academic entry requirements. We recommend you apply for admission to the University at the same time as you apply for your English language study.
