Thesis Extensions
Extensions for Masters and PhD thesis students due to the September and February earthquakes are being processed separately.
September earthquake
If you have received confirmation from the Dean of Postgraduate Studies that you have been given a fee waiver due to the September earthquake, you will receive a refund of these fees.
This refund will be based on the fees you paid for the year of study that included September 2010, and it cannot be applied to your 2011 thesis year.
These refunds will be processed by Financial Services over the next few weeks, and you will be advised when your refund is complete.
February earthquake
A 2-month fee waiver has been approved for all thesis students due to this earthquake, and this waiver will be applied to your 2011 thesis Enrolment Offer. If you are re-enrolling in 2011 for more than 2 months, you will still need to pay for the rest of your enrolment as usual.
