Undertaking a degree in Engineering at UC, Charl hopes to secure a position in mechanical engineering in Christchurch once his studies are complete.

Hearing that Bishop Julius Hall was a great place for Engineering students, Charl has elected to spend his first year of university enjoying the ‘small size' and ‘great environment' of the hall.
‘Bishop Julius is a great place to live and learn. You have the opportunity to meet many new people and make new friends.
Living in a hall is a great stepping stone between living at home and living on your own. Just make sure you strike a good balance between study and socialising.'
