Project Abstract

How may e-learning be able to serve the variety of these adults' needs? We know this question is problematic because basic skills are often a critical success factor in e-learning. Yet examples of online and mobile learning are emerging (Coburn et al, 2007) and for learners of English as a foreign language Computer Assisted Language Learning of English emerged in the last century. Our research is for the Ministry of Education (Tertiary sector) includes: interviews with stakeholders in colleges, community, businesses and commerce; a literature review, 2 case study of e-learning in operation, and a national survey of tutors.
