John McMillan Scholarship in Economics and Mathematics

Description

These scholarships were established by the University of Canterbury in 2007 to recognise the academic achievement of students from secondary schools within New Zealand. The scholarships are awarded in memory of John McMillan, one of the University's most distinguished economics graduates and a Professor of International Management and Economics at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

Eligibility

* For students enrolling in a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Scholars will be encouraged to subsequently pursue a combined Bachelor of Science with Honours in Economics and Mathematics.
* NZ citizen or permanent resident

Amount Full first-year tuition fees
Tenure 1 year
Closing Dates 01 Sep 2013
Most application forms are not available until approximately 8 weeks ahead of the closing date.
